My Qualifications
Qualifications
I bring over 14 years of law enforcement experience, supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. I hold a Senior Certificate from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training, the highest professional certification awarded by the state. I have also completed more than 2,500 hours of advanced law enforcement training, including the University of Arkansas Criminal Justice Institute’s School of Law Enforcement Supervision.
Instructor & Leadership Experience
As a professional law enforcement instructor, I’ve trained both officers and community members across the state. I’ve served as a Field Training Officer (FTO) and FTO Unit Supervisor/Manager, helping shape the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
I’m certified as a:
• Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) Instructor
• Radar Instructor
• Firearms Instructor and Armorer
Additionally, I’m certified as an Active Shooter instructor for ALERRT:
• Level 2 First Responder Medical (FRM) Instructor
• Solo Officer Rapid Deployment (SORD) Instructor
• Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Instructor
My career—both in the military and law enforcement—has prepared me to lead the Sheriff’s Office with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to transparency and public trust. I believe true leadership means serving others and standing for what’s right.

Integrity and accountability are the foundation of my campaign because they’re the foundation of public trust. For far too long, leadership in law enforcement has lacked transparency and failed to take responsibility for mistakes. That breaks down the relationship between deputies, the Sheriff’s Office, and the community we serve.
As Sheriff, I will lead by example—doing what’s right, not what’s politically convenient. I’ll hold myself, my command staff, and every member of the Sheriff’s Office accountable to the highest standards of honesty and professionalism. The people of Washington County deserve to know that their Sheriff’s Office works for them—with integrity, accountability, and transparency, every single day.
